The idea of a ‘talking stick’ has been present for thousands of years - ancient tribes used the system, and they were obviously onto something. TalkingStick for iOS is the best and most efficient way to moderate conversation. TalkingStick is able to help in all scenarios, you can regulate up to 6 users, tap the 6 colorful icons to add them and they will each receive a set time to speak - depending on the settings, so that everyone can get their point across in the little time you have.

The beautifully simple UI seems to flow out of the way, and when the device is passed to a speaker, they can easily tap their user to start the countdown. You can select between 3 modes: free talk, total time and block time.

Free Talk:
In the free talk mode, anyone can speak for as long as they would like. The application will count their talk time but will not give a limit.

Total Time:
The total time mode allows for the user to set a collected time for the whole of the conversation, each user can speak for as long as they like however the total time may run out, thus giving no one else time to speak.

Block Time:
The block time mode allows for the user to set an individual time limit for each speaker, a countdown will appear until their given time ends.

After each conversation, you can view the log, a collection of your most recent conversations.
